Majority of all parties believe same-sex marriages will be legal in 20 years

Flemington, NJ, August 13, 2010 – Results from a new national media study among 1,007 self-reported Democrats, Republicans and Independents revealed that political parties remain divided in their support for same-sex marriages with 68% of Democrats, 20% of Republicans and 52% of Independents indicating that they are in favor of same-sex marriages.

The study was conducted by HCD Research using its MediaCurves.com® website on August 13, to obtain viewers’ perceptions of a recent ad by Truth and Hope in support of same-sex marriages. To view detailed results go to: www.mediacurves.com.
