No Change in Americans' Perceptions of John McCain After Viewing Three Different Photos

Flemington, NJ, June 10, 2008 -- A new national study of 866 self reported Democrats, Republicans and independents revealed that there was little change in Americans’ perceptions of John McCain after viewing three different photos of the senator.

The study was conducted by HCD Research, using its mediacurves.com web site during June 9-10, to determine whether Americans possess different views of John McCain based on photos of him wearing a Navy baseball hat; no hat with a suit; and no hat with a with causal clothes.

Participants were divided into three randomly assigned groups. Members of each group were asked to view one of the three separate photos of John McCain. Each sample was then asked identical questions about Senator McCain.
