Flemington, NJ, January 6, 2010 – A new media study among 302 viewers of an interview with Chris Henry’s fiancée, Loleini Tonga, revealed that the majority of viewers (78%) reported that Tonga should be investigated in connection with the death of her fiancé.
The study was conducted during January 5-6 by HCD Research using its MediaCurves.com® website, to obtain viewers’ perceptions of an interview with Loleini Tonga in which she discusses the death of her fiancé, Cincinnati Bengals’ football player, Chris Henry. “When we viewed the automated response curves we observed that viewers’ believability levels quickly declined when Tonga stated: ‘I know I wasn't going fast at all because I was trying to drive slow because I knew he was in the back standing up,’” commented Glenn Kessler, president and CEO, HCD Research.
The percentage of viewers who reported that Chris Henry intentionally jumped off of the truck increased from 16% to 29% after viewing the video. Furthermore, the majority of viewers (76%) reported that they do not believe Chris Henry had the intention of harming himself when he jumped off the truck.

While viewing the video, participants indicated their levels of believability by moving their mouse from left to right on a continuum. The responses were recorded in quarter-second intervals and reported in the form of curves. The participants were also asked to respond to post-viewing questions.
